EMW Throwdown Royale 2K8: The Lethal Lottery

The show begins with Extreme-Vision showing the some of the participants in the Lethal Lottery giving their thoughts on tonight’s event.

The lights go out in the arena as Fall Out Boy performs “I Don’t Care”, the official theme song to Throwdown Royale 2K8. After their performance, Fall Out Boy left as the song played again through the PA system and pyro shoots up from the stage. Wade Needham and Bobby Spade welcomed everyone to the first EMW Mega Event since Extreme Homecoming back in June. They discussed tonight’s card including Blade defending the EMW World Heavyweight Championship against Terrell Owens, the Lethal Lottery Match and the Throwdown Royale match.

Al Bundy & Michael Jordan def. Tony Montana & Rocky Balboa in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match via pinfall when Al Bundy pinned Tony Montana after the Bundy Slam. With the win, Bundy and Jordan advanced to the Throwdown Royale match.

In the back, EMW World Heavyweight Champion Blade was shown just arriving to the arena holding the EMW World Heavyweight title on his right shoulder. Blade then goes over and enters his locker room before shutting the door to prepare for his EMW World title defense against Terrell Owens.

In the back, new ASWL Backstage Correspondent Torrie Wilson interviews Tommy Vercetti.

Torrie: Hello, EMW fans! I’m two-time Playboy Covergirl and former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson, the new correspondent for EMW and I’m with Tommy Vercetti. Tommy, up next as the luck of the draw in the Lethal Lottery, you team up with one half of the EMW World Tag Team Champions, Dave Chappelle as you will take on 50 Cent and Silent Bob in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team match to determine who will be apart of the Throwdown Royale. Can you get along with your partner in your match tonight?

Vercetti: Torrie, I’m not going to lie to you. I was hoping I’ll team with someone I respect, but instead I got some loud mouth comedian. When we enter the ring, Dave will have to understand my one rule if he wants to be in the Throwdown Royale. JUST GET OUT OF MY WAY!

Vercetti then leaves for his match.

EMW Internet Champion Tommy Vercetti & EMW World Tag Team Champion Dave Chappelle def. 50 Cent & Silent Bob in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match via pinfall when Vercetti pinned Silent Bob after the Vice City Crusher. With the win, Vercetti and Chappelle advanced to the Throwdown Royale match.

In the back, new EMW Correspondent Russell Brand interviews The Vampire Slayers about their Women’s Tag Team title rematch tonight against The Pop Icons.

Brand: Hello, ladies and gentlemen, Russell Brand here, the new second backstage correspondent for EMW and I’m here with former 3 Time EMW Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Vampire Slayers. Buffy…Faith…You have waited since June to get your opportunity to become the EMW Women’s Tag Team Champions for the 4^th time against the team that took the belts from you, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera & Britney Spears, The Pop Icons.

Buffy: At Extreme Homecoming, Christina Aguilera one up us by having her partner be a complete mystery until the time of the match. But now this time, there won’t be any mystery. We are prepared and we are ready to take back the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Faith: Tonight, Pop Skanks! There won’t be any tricks or treats. Tonight, we are going to hurt you so bad, you wish you won’t return to the spotlight. GET READY FOR YOUR FINAL PERFORMANCE BECAUSE THE GOLD’S COMING BACK TO THE VAMPIRE SLAYERS!

The Vampire Slayers then leave.

Brand: Well, The Slayers are determined to be the Women’s Tag Team Champions for the 4^th time. Now I send it out to Torrie Wilson who is with the Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Pop Icons, Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera.

In the back, Torrie Wilson is with EMW Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Pop Icons.

Torrie: Thanks, Russell. Britney…Christina…At Extreme Homecoming, we saw the shocking return of Britney Spears and it brought in the union of two former rivals turned Women’s Tag Team Champions. Later tonight, you will face the Vampire Slayers in a rematch for the belts and after what The Slayers said. They seemed determined to get the belts back.

Christina: Torrie, at Extreme Homecoming, we shock EMW by not only Britney’s return but taking the Women’s Tag Team belts from The Vampire Slayers. Britney and I want to prove to the world that the win is no fluke. Vampire Slayers, you may hope to get the belts back. But tonight, you would have to face reality and get beaten down by Pop Royalty.

Britney: Extreme Homecoming was a huge turn in my career and my life. Through the past couple of years, I had been through the toughest journey in my life. But now I start a new chapter in EMW and I have Christina at my side and we are determined to hang onto the belts. We shocked the world before and we will do it again tonight!

The Pop Icons then leave to head to the ring.

EMW Women’s Tag Team Champions The Pop Icons def. The Vampire Slayers via pinfall when Britney Spears pinned Buffy Summers after the Womanizer (Fame Asser) to retain the EMW Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Bud Bundy & “Angry Video Game Nerd” James Rolfe def. Apollo Creed and Jay in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match via pinfall when James Rolfe pinned Apollo Creed after the Codebreaker. With the win, Bud Bundy and James Rolfe advanced to the Throwdown Royale match.

In the back, Torrie Wilson interviewed The Street Fighters about being on opposite sides of the ring tonight in the next Lethal Lottery tag team match.

Torrie: Ken…Ryu…The both of you had been Tag Team Champions back at NoDQ CAW and here in EMW. But tonight, the both of you are on opposite sides of the ring thanks to the draw in the Lethal Lottery. What will it be like when the both of you actually have to go at it in the ring?

Ken: Well we have always faced each other before. We usually have sparring sessions days before our big matches. This would be no different. But Ryu, I won’t go easy on you and I expect you to do the same.

Ryu: I wouldn’t expect anything less, Ken. When we do have to face each other, let the best man win.

The Street Fighters then shook hands before they head to the ring.

“Alpha Male” Marcus Cor Von & Ryu Hoshi def. Ken Masters & Ace Ventura via pinfall in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match via pinfall when Marcus Cor Von pinned Ace Ventura after The Pounce. With the win, Hoshi and Cor Von advanced to the Throwdown Royale match.

In the back, Russell Brand interviewed Terrell Owens with Brooke Adams.

Brand: Terrell Owens…The time is getting closer for you as you will take on “The Day Walker” Blade for the EMW World Heavyweight Championship…

Owens: I know what kind of match I’m in, I’m not stupid! Tonight, I’m going to fulfill my destiny and become the EMW World Heavyweight Champion tonight. Blade, at Extreme Homecoming, I should’ve became the EMW World Heavyweight Champion if it wasn’t for Bud Bundy interfering in my business. But now, I get my rematch and I will not be denied my destiny for a second time because you are looking at the man that will walk out of LA as the NEW EMW World Heavyweight Champion! So get your popcorn ready and see history being made!

Owens and Brooke then leave the interview area and then they were stopped by Jules Winnfield who has the Money In The Bank Suitcase in hand. The two men had a brief staredown before they went their separate ways.

Jules Winnfield & The Rock def. John McClane & EMW World Tag Team Champion Carlos Mencia in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match via pinfall when Jules Winnfield pinned Carlos Mencia after the Inglewood Jack. With the win, Winnfield and Rock advanced to the Throwdown Royale match.

On ExtremeVision, the three women that are in the Triple Threat Match for the EMW Women’s Championship give out their pre-taped thoughts on the match from different sections backstage from before the show tonight.

Blaze Fielding: Out of three participants that is in tonight’s match, I’m the only on that has yet to become the EMW Women’s Championship. Tonight, that all will change as I have a chance to become the EMW Women’s Champion. Lara Croft, I have much respect for you and what you have done throughout your career. As for Lindsay Lohan, you represent the scum I fight back in the mean streets and you basically dress like one as well. They say in Hollywood, all your dreams will come true. Tonight, my dream will come true as the EMW Women’s title will be in the hands of Ms. O…S…N!

Lindsay Lohan: You know, I have made a living in Hollywood in getting what I want. The best movie roles, the hottest clubs, the finest clothes and the most luxurious items money can buy. So it is fitting that tonight in LA, I want the EMW Women’s Championship and what I want…I get! Tonight, I get to face some world tripping skank and a piece of street gutter trash which both can’t survive one minute in Hollywood.  Tonight, I will become the EMW Women’s Champion and the era of LiLo will continue on and dominate EMW!

Lara Croft: At Extreme Homecoming, I became the EMW Vixxxen’s Champion before I became the Undisputed EMW Women’s Champion at the same night. It was the best night of my career and the best night of my life. Tonight, I make my first official title defense. Blaze, I have watch you throughout your career in EMW and you have done well for yourself and I respect you for it. Facing you will be quite a challenge. Now as for Lindsay Lohan, you are an infection that plagues EMW and tonight I have a chance to kill that infection. At Extreme Homecoming I fought with heart and desire to become champion and I’ll do the same tonight to stay as champion. The title stays with me and it will remain that way for a long time. I promise!

EMW Women’s Champion Lara Croft def. Lindsay Lohan and “Ms. OSN” Blaze Fielding in a Triple Threat Match when Croft pinned Lohan after the Tomb Raider Driver to retain the Women’s Championship.

A video package is shown of the Lethal Lottery Matches that have happened earlier tonight. Then highlights were shown of last year’s Throwdown Royale where Blade won the match.

Barry Bonds won the Throwdown Royale Battle Royal match to earn an EMW World Title Shot at EMW MegaBrawl 2 by last eliminated Tommy Vercetti which also included: Al Bundy, Bud Bundy, Jules Winnfield, The Rock, Tommy Vercetti, Ryu Hoshi, Dave, Jerry, “Alpha Male” Marcus Cor Von, Sabu, Michael Jordan, “Angry Video Game Nerd” James Rolfe, Dane Cook, Dave Chappelle, Elijah Burke, The Great Khali, Chris Masters, Booker T and Kenny Dykstra.

-- Dave eliminated by Chris Masters when Masters press slammed Dave over the top rope.

-- Al Bundy eliminated by Michael Jordan after Jordan threw Bundy over the top rope after countering Bundy’s attempt at the Bundy Slam.
-- Michael Jordan eliminated by Tommy Vercetti after Vercetti clotheslined Jordan over the top rope after a miscalculation between Bonds and Jordan
-- Tommy Vercetti eliminated by Barry Bonds after Bonds clotheslined Vercetti over the top rope just moments after Vercetti eliminated Jordan.

In the back, Torrie Wilson interviewed EMW World Heavyweight Champion Blade about defending the EMW World Heavyweight Championship against Terrell Owens.

Torrie: Blade, the time is near as you defend the EMW World Heavyweight title against Terrell Owens. Not only that but we now know that Barry Bonds have won the Throwdown Royale and he will be in the main event for the EMW World Heavyweight Championship at MegaBrawl 2 in Tokyo, Japan. With all of this in mind, are you focused on defending the title tonight?!

Blade: Torrie, I’m always focused. I look at every match as a challenge to make myself stronger and more determined than ever before. Defending the EMW World title is no different, just adds more fuel to my fire. Terrell Owens believes it’s his destiny to be the EMW World Heavyweight Champion. But I’ve heard that garbage by every punk who thinks they are in the same level as me. All of them have tasted the Day Walker DDT or the Blade Cutter. Tonight will be no different as Terrell will deal with The Day Walker and like the rest, he will be nothing more than a man with shallow promises. As for Barry Bonds, once we met at MegaBrawl, you will have to deal with the Day Walker and suffer the same faith!

Blade then leaves and heads to the ring. He was then stopped by Jules Winnfield. The two men had a staredown before Jules extended his hand to Blade.

Jules: Good luck! And I hope you beat the hell out of that cocky muthafucker!

Blade then has a sly grin on his face before shaking Jules hand. Blade and Winnfield went their separate ways.

Terrell Owens with Brooke Adams def. EMW World Heavyweight Champion Blade via pinfall when Michael Jordan interfered and hit Blade with a vicious steel chair shot while Brooke Adams distracted referee John Palumbo to become the NEW EMW World Heavyweight Champion. In the final moments of the match Blade hit Owens with the Day Walker DDT. Barry Bonds tried to interfere but Blade hits Bonds with the Day Walker DDT. Brooke Adams jumped up on the ring apron and distracted referee John Palumbo while Owens, tired from the match, hit Blade with a low blow of desperation. Both men are down while Brooke was distracting referee John Palumbo. Michael Jordan ran in and grabbed the EMW World title belt and hits Blade with a vicious shot with the title belt. Jordan then draped Owens’s arm over Blade for the pinfall and the win. After the match, bonds returned to the ring as Jordan helped Owens to his feet. Owens was then handed the EMW World Heavyweight title. Michael Jordan, Barry Bonds and Brooke Adams then joined in on Terrell Owens’s celebration as the crowd booed them loudly as they threw trash in the ring as the show ends.
